5883' Middle Peak has no particular special appeal. Prior to a 2003 forest fire it was forested to the top which can be reached either cross-country or via fire roads. My only climb was in Summer 1958 on a solo hike of 4 miles round trip via a fire road from near the entrance to Camp Hual-Cu-Cuish Boy Scout Camp which was destroyed in the 2003 forest fire.
