On March 20, 1976 I took an 8 mile round trip day ski tour with Explorer Pose 82 including Ralph Nikolaus, Marty Nikolaus, Niki Nikolaus, Randy Stevenson, Ellie Heston, Lynn Morra and Nancy Roberts.
Ellie and Lynn went sightseeing, Marty, Randy, Niki and Nancy went downhill skiing, Don and Ralph went ski touring from Tamarack Lodge up the Lake Mary Road to Horseshoe Lake and a short distance up the hill toward Mammoth Pass. My first time on skiis for a real trip. The weather was fine but the road route sort of icy. Great time.
