On June 10, 1979 with Al Nikolaus and Marty Nikolous I day hiked an 11 mile round trip up North Fork Big Pine Creek in the John Muir Wilderness. We left town early, parked at the hikers parking below the pack station, and hiked the trail via first, second and third lakes to fourth lake. Layed around and hiked back via Black Lake. Beautiful weather and nice hike.
