On April 13, 1980 (or thereabouts) Jim White and I snowshoes up North Fork Big Pine Creek in the John Muir Wilderness on an 6 mile round trip. We Parked at the end of plowed road opposite Glacier Lodge and snowshoed up the road to North Fork Big Pine Creek. Climbed up west side of creek at second falls and ate lunch at top, then on to the Lon Chaney Cabin. Followed the trail back to the road and back to car. Very pleasant day hike. Boy was I out of shape.
