Views of Yosemite Valley from Discovery View
on way to and on return from Glacier Point
There is a long tunnel on Highway 41 as you climb out of Yosemite Valley on the way to Glacier Point or Wawona or even to Fresno. Parking at the east end of this tunnel at "Discovery View" provides outstanding views of Yosemite Valley .. El Capitan .. Bridleveil Falls .. Half Dome. We stopped for pictures both going to and returning from Glacier Point.
